Hadith 8101

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَضَالَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : دَعَوَاتٌ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَتْرُكُهَا مَا عِشْتُ حَيًّا ، سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أُعْظِمُ شُكْرَكَ ، وَأُكْثِرُ ذِكْرَكَ ، وَأَتْبَعُ نَصِيحَتَكَ ، وَأَحْفَظُ وَصِيَّتَكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard some supplications from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which I will never abandon as long as I live. I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating: O Allah, make me one who gives thanks to You, remembers You abundantly, follows Your advice, and safeguards Your command.
