It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you hear the crowing of a rooster at night, remember that it has seen an angel, so at that time ask Allah for His bounty. And when you hear the braying of a donkey at night, it has seen a devil, so seek refuge with Allah from the evil of the devil.
