Hadith 8037

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ أُثَالٍ ، أَوْ أُثَالَةَ أَسْلَمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى حَائِطِ بَنِي فُلَانٍ ، فَمُرُوهُ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Thumamah bin Uthal accepted Islam, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take him to the garden of such-and-such person and instruct him to perform ghusl (ritual bath)."
