Hadith 7930

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نُهِيَ عَنِ الِاخْتِصَارِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " . فَقُلْنَا لِهِشَامٍ : ذَكَرَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ بِرَأْسِهِ ، أَيْ نَعَمْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade placing hands on the waist during prayer.
