Hadith 7921

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَهُ ، فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If Allah grants someone wealth and property without him asking for it, he should accept it, because it is sustenance that Allah has sent to him.
