Hadith 7713

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَى عَبْدٍ أَحْيَاهُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ سِتِّينَ أَوْ سَبْعِينَ سَنَةً ، لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إليه لَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty completes the excuse of that servant to whom Allah has granted sixty or seventy years of life; Allah completes his excuse, Allah completes his excuse.
