Hadith 7711

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُرْوَةَ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَابَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا ، قُبِلَ مِنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever repents before the event of the sun rising from the west, his repentance will be accepted.
