Hadith 7704

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، وأبي سلمة ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْعَجْمَاءُ جَرْحُها جُبَارٌ ، وَالْبِئْرُ جُبَارٌ ، وَالْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ ، وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ " . وَالْجُبَارُ : الْهَدَرُ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The wound caused by an animal is without liability, the blood of one who dies by falling into a well is without liability, the blood of one who dies in a mine is also without liability, and for buried treasure that someone finds, one-fifth (khums) is obligatory.
