Hadith 7682

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَسُبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ الدَّهْرَ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ ، وَلَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلْعِنَبِ : الْكَرْمَ ، فَإِنَّ الْكَرْمَ هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should speak ill of time, for the Creator of time is Allah Himself, and do not call grapes "karm" (noble), for the real "karm" (noble one) is the Muslim man.
