حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ، قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بن الوليد ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ ، وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ ، وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ ، وَاجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would raise his head from the bowing (ruku) of the second rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, he would say "Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal hamd" and then make this supplication: O Allah, grant deliverance to Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham, Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah, and the other weak ones in Makkah Mukarramah from the oppression and tyranny of the Quraysh. O Allah, seize the tribe of Mudar with a severe punishment and inflict upon them a famine like that which occurred in the time of Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him).
