Hadith 7668

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يُؤْمِنُ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يَرُدَّ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ ؟ ! " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Does the person who raises his head before the Imam, while the Imam is still in prostration, not fear that Allah Almighty may turn his head into that of a donkey?
