It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once sent a marriage proposal for himself to his cousin Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her). She said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have become old and I have small children." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Among the women who ride camels, the best women are the women of Quraysh, who are most compassionate to their children in childhood and are the best protectors of their husbands' honor." Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Hazrat Maryam (peace be upon her) never rode a camel.
