It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When Allah loves a servant, He says to Jibreel (peace be upon him): "I love such and such a servant, so you also love him." And Jibreel (peace be upon him) says to the inhabitants of the heavens: "Your Lord loves such and such a person, so you also love him." Thus, all the inhabitants of the heavens begin to love him. After that, acceptance for him is placed among the people of the earth. And when He dislikes a servant, the same happens in this manner.
