Hadith 7557

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، وَيَعْلَى ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ ، إِلَّا السَّامَ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَمَا السَّامُ ؟ قَالَ : " الْمَوْتُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In this black seed there is a cure for every disease except as-sam. People asked, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is as-sam? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Death.
