Hadith 7536

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : " أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ : صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ، وَالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things (which I will not leave until my death): (1) to fast three days every month, (2) to perform Witr prayer before sleeping, (3) to take a bath on Friday.
