Hadith 7535

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ يُونُسَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يُؤْمِنُ الَّذِي يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ ، وَهُوَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ ، أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ صُورَتَهُ صُورَةَ حِمَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Does the person who raises his head before the Imam, while the Imam is still in prostration, not fear that Allah Almighty may turn his face into that of a donkey?
