(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، عَنْ
عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ
خِلَاسٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي عَطِيَّتِهِ ، كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَأْكُلُ ، حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ، ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ ، فَأَكَلَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a person who gives a gift to someone and then takes it back is like that of a dog who eats to his fill, and when his belly is full, he vomits, and then licks up and eats his vomit again.
