(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَوَكِيعٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَطَاعَنِي ، فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ، وَمَنْ عَصَانِي ، فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ ، وَمَنْ أَطَاعَ الْأَمِيرَ ، وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ : الْإِمَامَ ، فَقَدْ أَطَاعَنِي ، وَمَنْ عَصَى الْأَمِيرَ ، فَقَدْ عَصَانِي " ، وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ : " الْإِمَامَ ، فَقَدْ عَصَانِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever obeys me has indeed obeyed Allah, and whoever disobeys me has disobeyed Allah. Whoever obeys the leader has obeyed me, and whoever disobeys the leader has disobeyed me.
