(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ حُجَيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ " نَسْتَشْرِفَ الْعَيْنَ وَالْأُذُنَ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to carefully examine the eyes and ears of the sacrificial animals to ensure that there is no defect in them.
