(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حدثنا مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الزُّرَقي ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ فِي مَاءِ الْبَحْرِ : " هُوَ الطَّهُورُ مَاؤُهُ ، الْحَلَالُ مَيْتَتُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the water of the sea: Its water is purifying and its dead (fish) is lawful.
