Hadith 7222

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَن ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، تُسَافِرُ يَوْمًا ، وَلَيْلَةً ، إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي رَحِمٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for any woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for even one day without a mahram from her family.
