Hadith 7218

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : لَوْ رَأَيْتُ الظِّبَاءَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مَا ذَعَرْتُهَا ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا حَرَامٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that even if I see the Nūn in Madinah Munawwarah, I would not frighten them, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that the area between the two corners of Madinah Munawwarah is a sanctuary (Haram).
