(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ . وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا ، وَالصَّوْمُ لِي ، وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ ، يَذَرُ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ بِجَرَّايَ ، قَالَ يَزِيدُ : مِنْ أَجْلِي ، الصَّوْمُ لِي ، وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ ، وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ، أَطْيَبُ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The reward of a good deed is ten times. Allah Almighty says: Fasting is for Me and I Myself will give its reward. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
