(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا
مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ
الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَثَلُ الزَّرْعِ ، لَا تَزَالُ الرِّيحُ تُمِيلُهُ ، وَلَا يَزَالُ الْمُؤْمِنُ يُصِيبُهُ الْبَلَاءُ ، وَمَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ كَشَجَرَةِ الْأَرْزَةِ ، لَا تَهْتَزُّ حَتَّى تُسْتَحْصَدَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a Muslim is like that of a crop; winds constantly blow over it and keep it swaying, and calamities also keep coming upon a Muslim. And the example of a hypocrite is like that of a pine tree, which does not move by itself, but is uprooted all at once.
