(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Pray for those who have their hair cut short as well. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved. The fourth time, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also included those who have their hair cut short in his supplication.
