Hadith 7134

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ طُعْمٍ ، وَذِكْرِ اللَّهِ " . قَالَ مَرَّةً : " أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The days of Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah." In another chain of narration, only eating and drinking are mentioned.
