Hadith 7126

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ ، أَوْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِي الطَّرِيقِ ، رُفِعَ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ سَبْعَةُ أَذْرُع " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When there is a dispute among people regarding the measurement of a path, then resolve it by agreeing upon seven cubits."
