(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ التَّيْمِيِّ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي ابْنٌ لِي ، فَقَالَ : " ابْنُكَ هَذَا ؟ " قُلْتُ : أَشْهَدُ بِهِ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ ، وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ " ، قَالَ : وَرَأَيْتُ الشَّيْبَ أَحْمَرَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rimthah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I, along with my son, presented myself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). After a short while, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Is this your son?" I said, "I bear witness to that." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remember! He is not responsible for any of your crimes, and you are not responsible for any of his crimes." And I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had red hair.
