Hadith 7102

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، وَحُسَيْنٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " رَدَّ شَهَادَةَ الْخَائِنِ وَالْخَائِنَةِ ، وَذِي الْغِمْرِ عَلَى أَخِيهِ ، وَرَدَّ شَهَادَةَ الْقَانِعِ لِأَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ ، وَأَجَازَهَا عَلَى غَيْرِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The testimony of any treacherous man or woman, and the testimony of an inexperienced person about his brother, is not accepted. Also, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not accept the testimony of a servant in favor of his masters, but accepted it in favor of other people."
