(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " قَضَى فِي الْأَنْفِ إِذَا جُدِعَ كُلُّهُ الدِّيَةَ كَامِلَةً ، وَإِذَا جُدِعَتْ أَرْنَبَتُهُ نِصْفَ الدِّيَةِ ، وَفِي الْعَيْنِ نِصْفَ الدِّيَةِ ، وَفِي الْيَدِ نِصْفَ الدِّيَةِ ، وَفِي الرِّجْلِ نِصْفَ الدِّيَةِ ، وَقَضَى أَنْ يَعْقِلَ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ عَصَبَتُهَا مَنْ كَانُوا ، وَلَا يَرِثُوا مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَا فَضَلَ عَنْ وَرَثَتِهَا ، وَإِنْ قُتِلَتْ ، فَعَقْلُهَا بَيْنَ وَرَثَتِهَا ، وَهُمْ يَقْتُلُونَ قَاتِلَهَا ، وَقَضَى أَنَّ عَقْلَ أهل الكتاب نِصْفُ عَقْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَهُمْ الْيَهُودُ ، وَالنَّصَارَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the following ruling regarding the nose: "If it is completely cut off, the full blood money (diyah) will be obligatory, and if only the soft part is cut off, then half the diyah will be obligatory. The diyah for one eye is set at half, that is, fifty camels or their equivalent in gold or silver, or one hundred cows, or one thousand goats. Likewise, the diyah for one foot is also half, and the diyah for one hand is also half." And he gave this ruling: "The 'asaba (male agnates) of a woman will pay her diyah, whoever they may be, and they will inherit whatever remains from her inheritance. And if someone kills a woman, her diyah will be distributed among her heirs, and they will have the right to kill her killer." He also gave this ruling: "The diyah of the People of the Book, that is, Jews and Christians, will be half that of the Muslims."
