Hadith 7069

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رِشْدِينُ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَابِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَدَخَلَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person who enters through this door first will be from among the people of Paradise." Accordingly, Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) entered from there.
