Hadith 7056

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا ، بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ أَوْسَعُ مِنْهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, a house more spacious than that will be built for him in Paradise."
