(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ الْأَكْبَرِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ الْمُسَدِّدَ لَيُدْرِكُ دَرَجَةَ الصَّوَّامِ الْقَوَّامِ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، لِكَرَمِ ضَرِيبَتِهِ ، وَحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: A righteous Muslim, due to his good character and his nobility and kindness, reaches the rank of those who fast during the day and stand in prayer at night.
