(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ خَبَرِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، أَنَّهُ لَمَّا كَسَفَتْ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُودِيَ أَنْ الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ ، " فَرَكَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي سَجْدَةٍ ، ثُمَّ جُلِّيَ عَنِ الشَّمْسِ " ، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ : مَا سَجَدْتُ سُجُودًا قَطُّ أَطْوَلَ مِنْهُ ، وَلَا رَكَعْتُ رُكُوعًا قَطُّ أَطْوَلَ مِنْهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that once during the blessed era of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, there was a solar eclipse, so the announcement was made that the prayer is ready. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, performed two bowings (ruku) in one unit (rak'ah), then the sun became bright. Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, says that since that day, I have never seen such a long bowing and prostration.
