Hadith 7045

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is deterred from doing something by bad omens should know that he has committed shirk." The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is its expiation?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He should say: O Allah, all good is from You, all omens are from You, and there is no deity except You."
