Hadith 7039

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ ، وَعَنِ الْجَلَّالَةِ ، وَعَنْ رُكُوبِهَا ، وَأَكْلِ لُحُومِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys and animals that eat filth: "from riding on them as well as from eating their meat."
