Hadith 7027

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، وَسَعْدٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدًا ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave this ruling: "There is no validity of shighar (exchange marriage) in Islam."
