Once, Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) due to his illness. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Have you come with the intention of visiting the sick or just to meet? He replied: O Commander of the Faithful! I have come with the intention of visiting the sick. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that when a person visits his Muslim brother who is ill, seventy thousand angels pray for his forgiveness from morning till evening, and Allah Almighty creates a "khareef" for him in Paradise. We asked: O Commander of the Faithful! What is meant by "khareef"? He replied: It is a canal from which gardens are irrigated.
