Hadith 7011

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا قَرَنَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ حَجَّةٌ فَعُمْرَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined Hajj and Umrah because he feared that he might be prevented from going to the House of Allah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If Hajj does not take place, then we will perform Umrah only."
