Hadith 6998

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ لَا يُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not shake hands with women when taking their pledge of allegiance.
