It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every deed has a period of enthusiasm, and every enthusiasm has an end—either towards the Sunnah or towards innovation. Whoever's end is towards the Sunnah, he is rightly guided, and whoever's end is towards something else, he is destroyed."
