Abu Sa‘d says that a man came to Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "I ask you about that hadith which you yourself heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); I do not ask about what is in the Torah." He replied: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The true Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe. And the true emigrant is the one who refrains from what Allah has forbidden."
