Hadith 6940

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، وَمُعَمَّرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ خَائِنٍ ، وَلَا مَحْدُودٍ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، وَلَا ذِي غِمْرٍ عَلَى أَخِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The testimony of any treacherous man or woman is not accepted, nor is the testimony of a person who has been subjected to a prescribed punishment in Islam, or a person who is inexperienced, accepted in favor of his brother."
