(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلًى لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ : رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الشَّمْسَ حِينَ غَرَبَتْ ، فَقَالَ : " فِي نَارِ اللَّهِ الْحَامِيَةِ ، لَوْلَا مَا يَزَعُهَا مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ لَأَهْلَكَتْ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the sun setting and said: "This is a fire kindled by Allah. If Allah did not protect (everything) from it by His command, it would destroy all things present on the earth."
