(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ الْحَدَّادُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ . وَيَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُفْطِرُ ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَمُنْتَعِلًا ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during travel both fasting and not fasting. I have seen him praying both barefoot and wearing shoes. I have seen him drinking water both standing and sitting. And I have seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returning from both the right and the left side.
