Hadith 6918

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ سَلَفٍ وَبَيْعٍ ، وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْعَةٍ ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَكَ ، وَعَنْ رِبْحِ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two sales in one transaction, the sale and credit of something that has not yet entered into guarantee, and the sale of something that is not in your possession.
