(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، سَمِعْتُ سَيْفًا يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رُشَيْدٍ الْهَجَرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو حَدِّثْنِي مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَدَعْنِي وَمَا وَجَدْتَ فِي وَسْقِكَ يَوْمَ الْيَرْمُوكِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ " .
It is narrated from Rasheed Hujairi’s father that a man said to Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): “On the day of the Battle of Yarmouk, please pardon me for any harm that came to you from me, and tell me a hadith that you yourself heard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).” He replied: “I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: ‘A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe.’”
