(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَبْعَثُكَ فِيمَا بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُسَوِّيَ كُلَّ قَبْرٍ ، وَأَطْمِسَ كُلَّ صَنَمٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he addressed his companion "Hayan" and said: I am sending you for the same task for which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me. He commanded me to level every grave and to obliterate every idol.
