It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It will be said to the companion of the Qur'an: Recite the Qur'an and ascend the ranks of Paradise, and recite slowly and distinctly as you used to recite slowly and distinctly in the world, for your final abode will be at the last verse you recite."
