Hadith 6783

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : أَنَا " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، وَيَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا ، وَيُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَنَاعِلًا ، وَيَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُفْطِرُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in such a way that he would return from the right and left sides. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying both barefoot and wearing shoes. I also saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drinking water while standing and sitting. And I saw him fasting during travel and also leaving the fast.
